Stop 2: Jinlun St. Joseph Catholic Church
After the sweeping coastal view, step into the Jinlun St. Joseph Catholic Church. Truly one of its kind in the world, this church's exterior resembles a giant Paiwan clay pot, built with black slate and unlike the typical all-white church.
From the eagle feathers and wild boar tusks decorating the eaves to the sacred figures dressed in traditional attire, every detail reflects Paiwan culture. Sunlight pours down through the stained-glass skylight in the roof, creating an atmosphere of peaceful tranquility.
