nice but no so fencynot sure to be considered as one of the top 10... wide variety of dishes, but very basic tableware groove atmosphere
Good meal after the seasideWe finished cycling for the afternoon and came across this izakaya open for the evening. The shop is supposedly around for over 22 years. The stir fried beef is pretty good. Although there was yakitori we did not order as we were feeling full. The warm sake was serviceable and went well with the clam soup. The small size soup portion is actually good for 2, the larger pot is meant for around 5-6. This is worth a visit if you are in the area.
Decent food and atmosphereAs we were here off season, there was pretty much only us there. Good service and enjoyable food. Glasses are a bit on the small side, but the bottles of beer are big!
Food ok, but service terribleService is bad: Tables do not get cleared in time, simple food that only needs to be put on the grill takes forever. Also no English menu or anyone having any degree of fluency in English (but that seems to be the standard here so no deductions for that). Food itself quite ok.

Fine food in unassuming surroundingsWe had a fabulous meal for three hungry young and old men who had just cycled part of the route 1 up from Dawu. Lovely people run this place.
