“Chengguangao Cultural Landscape” is the former historic site of “Guanghengfa Shop,” in line with Siaogang (Little Hong Kong) Fishery Harbor and Siaogang Matsu Temple. “Guanghengfa Shop” used to be the largest grocery store along the coastline of  Taitung. It was constructed by a Hakka person, Mr. Wen Tai-kun. After the Second World War, the Wen family moved out. In 1996, when the Hualien-Taitung Highway was widened, the northern side of the archway was demolished. The debris left makes people recall the past.
