Shiyusan (Stone Umbrella) Recreation Area contains a number of lookouts and wooden trails for visitors to admire the wondrous view: the sky and ocean sharing the same color shade. The narrow and elongated cape seen on the water surface has an on-and-off disconnected look, a result of seawater erosion. A closer look of the area reveals numerous potholes, sea caves, and marine arches. The Shiyusan (stone umbrella) refers to the umbrella-shaped stacks, mostly knocked down by typhoons, and now only one remains.
