Alongside the path next to Dulan Village Farmers’ Association is a beautiful house with Japanese architecture, the Moonlight Inn. Standing quietly on the hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean,Moonlight Inn was where the movie "The Moon also Rises" was filmed by director Lin Zhen-sheng. Now this place is sponsored by Enchantress’ Paintings Gallery. Many art events are held here to showcase the beauty and the culture of the area.
Place desertedWe walk up from the town of Dulan to the Moonlight Inn but there was no one there and it was all locked up. We enjoyed the cooling wind and lovely view but could not find anyone around, so we left and went back down the mountain - a bit disappointed.
Great view and good coffeeThis is a nice place to visit. You can either drive or walk there. The view of the ocean is beautiful, and it's a nice way to relax during the afternoon.
Beautiful view over Dulan to the sea.On the same road as the Dulan archaeological site this is a great place for a cup of coffee = good coffee too. A side trip from the great little town of Dulan it is worth the drive up the mountain to find this oasis of tranquility. Fantastic views over the fields, town of Dulan to the sea and in the distance is Green island.
