It is a cafe pretend to be a ranch!
Mmm...after an hour in this ranch, I can only find 4 goats , 4 horses, and some rabbits! Also, a very impressive toilet! I don’t know why I pay tickets to get in!TifKoh

Could have been better.
Our driver dropped us here for a short visit. One needs a car to visit this place. Tickets have to be purchased. The farm boasts its fresh milk, yoghurt & ice cream. It is big but I feel it is under-utilised. The field is big but only a handful of animals are scattered around. I saw very few horses, ponies & cows. There was only 1 goat under the tree. During a hot day, one would prefer to sit under the shady areas near the aircon’d souvenir shops. One of it sells edibles and another sells stationery, hats & many others. Animals are pretty well kept, especially the piglets & bunnies. They are cute. The scenery is beautiful. I would prefer to see pony or horse rides here. Also, the ability for visitors to learn how to milk a cow, like the Chok Chai Farm in Thailand. Or make our own yogurt or ice cream. It is good to have some educational farm tours. The ranch here is too quiet. Not sure if this is the purpose. There aren’t much activities except paying for hay to feed the bunnies & piglets, resting near the fountain reading books or newspapers. Hope more improvements can be made. The fields are spacious, with green mountains being the backdrop. They should them, just do not make it so commercialised but educational.DavidASU

Another so so Ranch
We went to our friend’s house which is near Chu Lu Ranch. Actually, we went by it every day during our staying. However, we were advised that this ranch is mainly for kids activities. Thus we decided to take some photos outside of the ranch instead of paying the admission to enter it. Maybe, someday, we will eventually to get inside to tour it.FoodieThatsMe

Tired and not worth trip.
Maybe ten years ago this would be a place to go. Very tired visually and really needs a severe makeover. Really wished we hadn’t gone.ykh_malaysia

Nothing to miss if you don't visit
I think most reviews over-rate this place. The entire place looks so tired and worn-out and most activities are suitable for children. Entry by car is chargeable including the people in the car. Engaging in the activities there including buying food to feed certain animal are charged separately. I tried milk bottle feeding to a calf which quite an experience. There are farm animals to see and touch like cows, pigs, goats and horses. You can also buy the dairy products by produced by this farm and a cafe to try their milk and ice-creams.
