There is a beautiful marine eco-area in the Shanyuan maritime space near Fushan Village in Beinan Township. However,the area had suffered serious damage from illegal fishing,before the Eastern Marine Biology Research Center proclaimed Fushan as a fishing resource reserve. After 2 years of restoration effort,much of the area's ecology has been successfully recovered. With corals,protected seashells,and endemic fish species reappearing,the area is now a great place for an outdoor natural classroom,featuring both guided information and recreation purposes.
