Located in Haiduan Township, Taitung County, the Tianlong Suspension Bridge was built in 1929 during the Japanese colonial period. Spanning the Xinwulu River, the bridgeit is 110 meters long and 1 meter wide. The bridge is among the top eight scenic spots on the Southern Cross-Island Highway. Standing at an altitude of 721 meters, the bridge rests 80 meters above the valley floor. An adventure into this unique beautiful forest starts with a deep breath.
