Mt. Balangwei is located in Nanxing Village, at the southernmost tip of Dawu Township, Taitung. At an altitude of about 325 meters, it is one of Taiwan’s “100 Lesser Peaks” (Xiao Bai Yue). The summit offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view; on clear days, the magnificent Pacific Ocean, Green Island, and Orchid Island are all visible. Whether by car or by foot along the mountain trail, the summit is easily accessible, allowing every traveler to experience the splendor of the mountains and the scenery where the sea meets the sky.
