Located in Ruilong Village, Luye Township, Taitung, the Ercengping Aqueduct is a rare elevated irrigation canal, also known as a “floating aqueduct,” in Taiwan. Its red-and-white arched structure stretches across vast rice paddies, creating a magnificent pastoral scene set against the backdrop of the majestic Central Mountain Range. Due to the terrain’s elevation difference, a countercurrent phenomenon occurs at the end of the waterway, earning it the nickname "the Rift Valley's Water Flowing Upward".
