Chenggong Indigenous Museum is located near Xingang Fishing Harbor. It is an important center for preserving and promoting indigenous culture along the East Coast. With a focus on Amis culture, various exhibitions and workshops are held here. Through photography, painting, and multimedia displays, you can learn about tribal life and customs from the artist’s perspective as well as their life stories as Amis tribespeople. In addition to indoor displays, culinary cultural exchange activities and traditional craft workshops are also available, allowing visitors to learn about the tribe’s food culture or make their own traditional farm tools and baskets woven out of shell ginger so they can gain first-hand experience of tribal life.
