The service area covers a large area. In addition to the two-story building offering more than 1,850m² of indoor space, there is also dedicated parking for nearly 200 vehicles of various types. At a comparable scale to freeway service areas, it is the largest service area in Taitung County and also one of the rare large-scale rest service areas along the South Link Highway. In addition to the shops, there are restaurants with views, taking full advantage of its location by the fishing port. Travelers can relax and enjoy the beautiful sea view here.

The South Link Service Area is also equipped with a large display space showcasing Dawu's ethnic culture and signature products. Complemented by the coastal art landscapes of the Nanhui Art Project found along the adjacent shoreline, the area offers a unique cultural experience. Travelers can not only get rest, souvenirs, and local products from here, but also learn about the culture of Taitung, and feel its artistic and creative energy.
