Taitung Travel

The Minquan Village Japanese Dormitory was built in the 1940s during the Japanese Showa period. Renovated at the end of 2020, it is among the most well-preserved Japanese-style dormitories for officials in Taiwan. This structure not only preserves the collective memory of the Japanese colonial period, but also these elegant buildings are also of historic and artistic value. The site currently houses a restaurant, Hakka lecture hall, and venues for art and cultural events.
