Haishengping is a bay formed by volcanic agglomerate. Its 400 m walk consisted of rocky steps on the northern hill is the best place to admire the ocean view and landforms on Green Island. The scenic pavilion along the walk, connected by the little great wall, is an ideal spot to captures interesting views of the famous Sleeping Beauty Rock, Pekinese Dog Rock, shell and coral beach, lava steles and Yutzuhu Bay. Visitors could also choose to follow the path next to island loop highway to reach Haisengping directly and observe the endemic plants and intertidal organisms. Sleeping Beauty Rock and Pekinese Rock are the most captivating geographical features in this area. One may observe and easily see the vivid forms of a loyal dog guarding its lady, who lies quietly by the shore.
