Taitung Travel

The service area covers a large area. In addition to the two-story building offering more than 1850m2 of indoor space, there is also dedicated parking for up to 78 motorcycles and scooters, 112 cars, and 17 buses. At a comparable scale to freeway service areas, it is the largest service area in Taitung County and also one of the rare large-scale rest service areas along the South Link Highway. In addition to the shops, there are restaurants with views, taking full advantage of its location by the fishing port. Travelers can relax and enjoy the beautiful sea view here.

The South Link Service Area is also equipped with a large display space showcasing Dawu's ethnic culture and signature products. The modern art architecture piece from the Nanhui Art Project, Blue Eternity, is shown on the seawall at the adjacent Dawu Fishing Port. Travelers can not only get rest, souvenirs, and local products from here, but also learn about the culture of Taitung, and feel its artistic and creative energy.
